Lincolnshire Historic Graffiti Survey
BARDNEY, St Lawrence
Several different masons’ marks were found here, although these had been identified and recorded previously by David Miles and church colleagues.
Other graffiti found here include: crosses, circles, ‘daisywheels’, initials, names, dates, ‘double-V’ symbols and several ‘enigmatic’ or ‘UG’ carvings (in other words we don’t know what they are!).
