By far the most remarkable graffiti here are the 13 humanoid figures, some partial but others almost whole, including 3 trumpeters and a swordsman (see below). Most of these figures are found on just one South-aisle pillar. Almost all of them are very faintly scratched, and quite difficult to see without using the ‘raking light’ method. The clothing style on several of the figures can be dated, approximately, to the late 16th century. A few other graffiti were found including a facial profile.
