SCAMPTON St John the Baptist

Pillars are bare stone, with some having flaking and stone erosion. Plastered and whitewashed walls.
Dating from Norman times, but mainly 18th century with parts from the 17th century. Restored in 19th C.
In its churchyard are buried many RAF service war dead, including 64 British Commonwealth and 8 German.
